Ingredients
Pastry:
200 grams of plain flour
100 grams of ground hazelnuts
150 grams of margarine
100 grams of sugar (preferably powdered)
1 vanilla sugar
1 baking powder
1 egg
grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons of sour cream
a pinch of salt
Filling:
5-6 pears
4 tablespoons of jam
50 grams of dark chocolate
Instructions
Pastry:
Mix all the ingredients together and knead the dough. It will be easiest if your margarine is at room temperature. If your dough is too light and you cannot knead it, feel free to add a little flour, and if it is too hard, feel free to add a tablespoon or two of milk.
After you have kneaded the dough, wrap it in transparent film and put it in the fridge for an hour to cool.
Roll out two-thirds of the dough to a size that fits the pan in which you will bake the pie. Transfer the dough to the pie mold and then start with the filling.
Filling:
Peel the pears and cut them into small slices. First spread the dough with jam.
Arrange the sliced pears on the dough coated with jam, and fill the gaps between them with pieces of chopped chocolate (optional). Roll out the rest of the dough, cut strips and arrange them on top of the filling.
Brush the dough with one egg so that the pie is shiny and gets a nice color when baking. Bake the pie for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees. If the dough is a bit thicker, feel free to extend the baking time, or adjust to the temperament of your oven. Towards the end of baking, if the pie has not turned golden, you can increase the temperature to 200 degrees.
