Smoked Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • 8ย hot dogs
  • 1ย tablespoonย paprika
  • 2ย teaspoonย garlic powder
  • 1 ยฝย teaspoonย sea salt
  • 1ย teaspoonย onion powder
  • ยฝย teaspoonย ground mustard
  • ยฝย teaspoonย black pepper
  • 8ย hot dog buns
  • toppings โ€“ cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, ketchup etcโ€ฆ

Instructions

  • Preheat smoker to 250ยฐF. Use a knife to cut crosshatches on the skin of the hot dogs.
  • Mix together the seasoning spices in a bowl and season hot dogs liberally with it.
  • Place the hot dogs in the grill and smoke for an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 155ยฐF.
  • Serve on a hot dog bun and top with your favorite toppings.
