Snickers Cake

Ingredients 

Crust (with peanuts)

• 3 egg whites

• 6 tablespoons of sugar

• 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

• 1 tablespoon of smooth flour

• 125 g unsalted peanuts

Cream

• 6 egg yolks

• 500 ml of milk

• 6 tablespoons of sugar

• 80 g corn starch

• 200 g of butter

• 100 g of cooking chocolate

• 2 large Snickers chocolate bars

• 2 tablespoons of chopped peanuts

Decoration

• 500 ml of sweet cream

• 1 tablespoon of peanuts

• 1 large Snickers chocolate bar

• chocolate dressing

• caramel topping

Preparation 

For this Snickers Cake you will need 2 crusts so read carefully the recipe. First mix the egg whites with mixer and gradually add sugar and lemon juice little by little. Mix it all together until the sugar dissolves. Add the flour and peanuts that you chopped in the blender and gently mix the mixture with a food processor.

Pour the prepared mixture into a cake mold (26 cm) and level the surface nicely. Bake the crust for 15 minutes at a temperature of 170 °C. Prepare another crust like this in the same way.

Next step is to prepare the cream, mix the egg yolks with sugar, corn starch and add a little bit of milk. Heat the rest of the milk until boiling, then add the prepared egg yolks. Cook the cream over low heat until it thickens, then transfer it to a larger bowl, cover the surface and put it into fridge to cool.

Add room temperature butter to the cooled cream and mix it well. Divide the cream into two equal parts and add the melted chocolate to one part.

Place the first crust on the cake base and cover it with a thin layer of nutella. Sprinkle some chopped peanuts and one chopped Snickers chocolate bar over the Nutella. Spread the cake with light cream and cover with another crust.

In the same way, coat the second crust with nutella, sprinkle with peanuts and a Snickers chocolate bar, and coat with chocolate cream. Spread the entire cake with whipped cream and decorate with peanuts, a Snickers chocolate bar and chocolate and caramel topping. If desired, decorate the sides of the cake with crushed biscuits and peanuts.
