Meatballs in garlic tomato sauce

Ingredients
800g ground beef
8 tablespoons of bread
3 eggs
500 ml of tomatoes happened
250 tomatoes from the can
10 Mushrooms
8 tomatoes
3 carrots
3 tablespoons of tomato paste
4 onions
5 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp chopped rosemary
2 tbsp chopped thyme
2 tbsp dried oregano
4 tablespoons of sugar
Oil for the frying
Salt
Pepper
Cumin

Preparation

Cut two onions as well as the garlic and then steam in a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil in a glass.

For the minced meatballs, mix the meat, breadcrumb, egg, onion and garlic mixture, salt and 1 tsp cumin. (Tip: A test ball can be fried here to taste if the meatballs are properly seasoned)

Form small balls out of the minced meat mass (diameter approx. 3 cm).
For the tomato sauce, add two onions and two cloves of garlic, cutting mushrooms, tomatoes, carrots into small pieces.

Fry the vegetables with some oil in a large pot or pan and stir the tomato paste and oregano and roast. Add the tomatoes and the canned tomatoes. Fill the empty tomato can again with water and add it as well. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and some vegetable broth.

The sauce for about Simmer for 15 minutes and then add the meatballs, thyme and rosemary to the sauce. With the lid closed, simmer for another 15 minutes until the meatballs are ready.

Tip: you can add spaghetti, macaroni or whatever you like as a side
